Kate Wild
by quellycatface ini've been given permission to post news of our friend.. kate hasn't been very well.
not well at all.
i think much of it has been a delayed reaction to her df'ing, the general fallout when leaving the wtbs and family issues.. i just wanted to give you guys the heads up and give you a chance to show how much we care about her.. thanks for listening..

Should I go on a allocated on arrival holiday??
by quellycatface ini'm just a bit nervous in case i end up in a dump, i don't have the money to move to another place.
it will probably be self-catering greek style basic.
i love the island but am worried now.

I haven't done allocated on arrival before, but I've been to quite a few Greek self catering CHEAP holidays.. All I can say is that you KNOW what the accommodation will be like. Basic. if you're not bothered about that then the only thing to worry about is - will you be miles away from anything, or right in the thick of it? (both no good imo)
I don't think I'd risk it myself. How much cheaper IS it?

What sort of observations would be good to bring out while watching it with a devout jw to get them thinking without doing it obviously?

Hang on. I've had a couple of beers so tell me if I've not got this right......
Atthe beginning of this thread the OP postulated that since Jesus broke the law to save a life, (or rather heal a hand, or save an animal ), we should be able to do the same with regards to blood.
However, according to WT literature, Jesus DIDNT break the law, rather he broke the pharisees too-strict interpretation of the law.
Therefore WT = pharisees yes? Same difference either way..

What stage are you in after leaving or waking up to TTATT?
by suavojr ini can honestly say that although still in, i have lost the fear of wts dooms day version and in all sincerity i don't care what others inside the cult think of me.
at first i was mad of being lied to, i was sad that paradise is not coming, and i felt fear of death.
i happy to report, that i am now at peace with my eventual mortality and i am enjoying every second i have while i am alive.. .

Time is definitely making a difference.
Every day I get a little more confident about arguing my corner, and I care a little less about what others think. My only concern now is about not losing my wife. I feel THE conversation is going to come up soon, in which I tell her I'm only going to the meetings to be supportive of her, and that I've gone from doubting to not believing.
It's been easier and there's been less pressure since I came out as a doubter, and I sure am enjoying life a lot more, if it wasn't for the fear of losing the luvverly missus...
Andthe dread of having to go out on the ministry in the morning.... 😥
